I am tying to find a product quote system. It needs to allow me to add multiple products, brands and categories, and kinda come accross like a full ecommerce system, but I dont want any prices at all, or buying options, instead I want to be able to add items to a quote cart, and when checked out (for want of a better description) it simply sends the quote request to the site admin.
I thought DJ Catalog 2 would do it but sadly, where DJCatalog 1 was pretty good for nearly all of this, they have improved it with CDJCatalog 2 by making it worse than 1, so after alot of heavy modifications I was close but its not a brilliant system to edit the files, and for some reason they have got Manufacturers (great) then manufacturer categories (not sure what for) and product categories, but only one can be assigned to any one manufacturer?
Can anyone advise on a shopping type system, like an online catalog, that has a quote system.
